Chewy Caramel Popcorn

1 C Sugar 
1 cube butter 
1/2 C corn syrup 
Dash of salt 
1/2 tsp baking soda 
1 tsp vanilla 
2 bags popped microwave popcorn 
  
Bring sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt to a low boil for approximately 1 minute. Remove from heat and add baking soda and vanilla. Mix well. Pour over popcorn quickly and stir to coat evenly.
