2 C oats
1 C slivered almonds
1/2 C shelled sunflower seeds
1/4 C wheat germ
1/4 C flax seed
1/2 C honey
zest of 1 orange
1 t almond extract
1 C dried fruit
1 C slivered almonds

Combine the first seven ingredients. Mix all the ingredients together and spread evenly onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 300°F for 30 to 35 minutes or until light brown, stirring after 20 minutes. Stir in dried fruit. Cool. Store in airtight container for up to 1 week or in freezer bags for up to 2 months.
